FLOWERY BRANCH – The Falcons and safety Keanu Neal, the team's first-round pick, agreed to terms Wednesday on a four-year contact.

Neal is the first first-round pick from the 2016 NFL draft to reach a deal. Terms were undisclosed.

Neal’s contract likely will be worth more than $10 million.

Defensive end Arik Armstead was drafted 17th overall by the San Francisco 49ers last year, and he signed a four-year $9.84 million deal, with a $5.42 million signing bonus.

Neal, 6-foot-1, 216 pounds, started 19 of the 34 games he played in during his three years at Florida.

Last season, Neal finished third on the team with 96 total tackles.
