FLOWERY BRANCH—Falcons cornerback Robert McClain practiced on Wednesday after he left the Browns game on Sunday with calf pain.
A Falcons spokesman said McClain suffered from cramping during the game.
McClain is set to start in place of Robert Alford against the Cardinals on Sunday. The Falcons said Alford would miss at least two and as many as four weeks after he suffered a fractured wrist during the game at Carolina on Nov. 16.
Falcons wide receivers Harry Douglas (foot) and Roddy White (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. Falcons coach Mike Smith said defensive tackle Paul Soliai missed practice for personal reasons and also won’t practice on Thursday.
