Falcons defensive end John Abraham (ankle) didn't participate in the team portion of practice Thursday.

Abraham, the team leader in sacks, suffered the injury during the regular-season finale and was forced to leave Sunday's Seahawks game after 15 snaps.

Cornerback Christopher Owens (hamstring) returned to practice Thursday after missing the last regular-season game and the Seahawks game with the injury. Defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux (shoulder) participated in practice on a limited basis Thursday.
