FLOWERY BRANCH – Auburn. Cadillac. Carnell Williams?

Apparently, there are two Cadillacs from Auburn and one plays free safety for the Falcons.

Who knew?

Falcons coach Dan Quinn keeps talking about what a great job “Cadillac” is doing at free safety.

It turns out that Robenson Therezie has the same nickname from his days as a running back.

“Just by playing running back, back in my day,” Therezie said. “I was supposed to be the second Cadillac.”

Now, that he has an NFL start under his belt, he’s fine with Quinn calling him “Cadillac.”

“I guess we can see it that way now,” said Therezie, who earned his degree in Public Administration.

His twitter handle is @Cadillac_34. He’ll have to change that to @Cadillac_27, his number with the Falcons.

Williams, the original Cadillac, played at Auburn from 2001-05 and has the school record for most rushing touchdowns with 45. He played in the NFL from 2005-11 with Tampa Bay and St. Louis and was the league’s rookie of the year in 2005.
