Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff has a busy next 48 hours, but he’s excited about it.

The Falcons play the Dolphins in their exhibition season finale at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Shortly after the game, the Falcons will start trimming their roster from 90 to 53 players by the 4 p.m. Saturday deadline.

Dimitroff, whose career took off on the scouting side, plans to attend the Chick-fil-A Kickoff game Saturday, which features Auburn vs. Washington.

“You’ll see me there for sure,” Dimitroff said. “That will be a fun game to watch.”

Some of the NFL prospects in the game include Washington left tackle Trey Adams (6-foot-5, 317 pounds), quarterback Jake Browning (6-2, 210) and running back Myles Gaskins (5-10, 193).

Auburn’s pro prospects include defensive tackle Derrick Brown (6-5, 325), quarterback Jarrett Stidham (6-3, 215) and big cornerback Jamel Dean (6-2, 208).
