Former Denver running back Terrell Davis, who had a checkered career at the University of Georgia, was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday.
“How about ‘dem Dawgs,” Davis shouted out.
Davis, who played at Georgia, from 1992-94, thanked and acknowledged former Georgia coach Ray Goff, who was in the crowd.
He cited his rash of injuries and work ethic issues while in Athens.
“I loved being a Georgia Bulldog and playing between the hedges,” Davis said.
He also mentioned his former running back coaches Willie McClendon and David Kelly.
He later added, “I have to say this one more time. Gooooooo Dawgs. Sic’em.”
He then started barking.
