Falcons owner Arthur Blank was on hand for Dan Quinn's postgame news conference Sunday and shared some thoughts on the team's 1-4 start.

Blank normally attends the presser, but usually sits off to the side. In Pittsburgh, in a small room, he was sitting next to AJC columnist Mark Bradley.

» Mark Bradley: Can Falcons recover from 1-4 start?

Blank was asked if he saw 1-4 coming. He winced and said, “Are you kidding me?”

The Falcons head coach discusses his team and its 1-4 record.

So: What do the free-falling Falcons do now?

Said Blank: “We can’t erase the last five games. We have to make adjustments. That’s all you can do. Start out next week and act like it’s 0-0. Nobody wants to hear any excuses. Nobody wants to hear any stories. That’s the nature of this business.”
