After an explosive performance in all three phases on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams, Falcons’ running back Devonta Freeman knows his team can get better.

With four offensive touchdowns by four different Falcons on Sunday and nine different players targeted by quarterback Matt Ryan, Freeman thinks the depth and talent the Falcons have was fully seen on Sunday.

“We haven’t (peaked) yet,” Freeman said of the offense. “There’s always step we can improve on. Some people may say we have but I feel like we have so much potential and so much talent on this team and stuff like that but the skies the limit for us.”

The Falcons racked up 286 offensive yards, including 220 passing yards in Sunday’s 42-14 win over the Rams.

Freeman said the Falcons’ defense scoring two touchdowns off turnovers and special teams limiting the Rams’ return game made the offense’s job much easier on Sunday.

“Everybody’s cooking right now and all three phases and like I said we still have a lot of work to do,” Freeman said. “We can always get better and go to that next level and get one percent better.”

Freeman finished Sunday’s game with 18 total yards.
