Florida signee Justin Watkins was arrested and booked into Marion County jail Wednesday for trespassing at a Florida high school, according to multiple reports.

The 5-foot-11, 172 pound cornerback from East Ridge High School in Clermont, Fla. was charged with a misdemeanor after trespassing on Marion County High School grounds at 3:48 p.m. Wednesday.

Watkins was released at 2:37 a.m. Thursday on a $500 bond, according to 247 Sports.

“We are aware of the incident with Justin and are still collecting information," Gators coach Dan Mullen said, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

The Tampa Bay Times reported Watkins was on school property in pursuit of an unnamed woman following an altercation between the two. Police said Watkins kicked the woman’s car and tried to let air out of the tires on school property.
