Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones’ performance during the month of November landed him on the United States Sports Academy’s Athlete of the Month ballot.

Jones became the first and only receiver in NFL history to record three 250-plus receiving yard games in his career after the Falcons win against the Tampa bay Buccaneers on Nov. 26. During the game, Jones had 12 catches for 253 yards and two touchdowns.

A former first round pick out of Alabama, Jones also set NFL records for most receptions (563) and yards (8,649) through a player’s first 90 NFL games.

Jones is nominated along with 12 other candidates for the Player of the Month honors including Danish soccer player Christian Eriksen, Chinese golfer Shanshan Feng, American track star Shalane Flanagan, American quarterback at the University of Louisville Lamar Jackson, Kenyan track star Geoffrey Kamworor, South American swimmer Chad le Clos, Russian skater Evgenia Medvedeva, American skier Mikaela Shiffrin, Sweedish swimmer Sarah Sjostrom and American right fielder for the Houston Astros George Springer.

Fans can vote online in ballots that will assist the Academy’s selection committee in choosing the male and female monthy winners and which athletes will be eligible for Athelte of the Year.
