Bleacher Report released preseason NFL power rankings, and the Falcons took the No. 5 spot.

With the loss of Kyle Shanahan and the Super Bowl, the Falcons have a lot to prove this season including why the team is better than the top four spots in Bleacher Report’s rankings:

No. 4: Kansas City Chiefs

No. 3: Pittsburgh Steelers

No. 2: New York Giants

No. 1: New England Patriots

The Falcons open up preseason play Thursday in Miami.
