After drafting college stars like wide receiver Calvin Ridley and extending quarterback Matt Ryan five years, the Atlanta Falcons fell seven spots on ESPN's Post-Draft NFL Power Rankings.

After free agency, the Falcons ranked at the No. 2 spot on ESPN’s list and on the new ranking released Tuesday, the Falcons landed at No. 8.

“The Falcons drafted wide receiver Calvin Ridley in the first round,” ESPN’s rationale read. “Their past two first-round receivers? Roddy White and Julio Jones, who currently sit first and second on the franchise's all-time receiving list.”

The rest of ESPN's Post-Draft NFL Power Rankings can be read on ESPN's official website.
