Dream trade for Thomas
The Dream acquired guard Jasmine Thomas in a trade with the Mystics on Tuesday.
As part of the deal, the Dream will receive Washington's second-round pick (13th overall) in the draft, and Washington will receive Atlanta's first-round (seventh overall) and second-round (19th overall) draft picks.
Thomas started 23 games last year, averaging 8.2 points, 2.8 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game. She will be entering her third season since being selected with the 12th pick in the 2011 draft out of Duke.
Thomas is one of just four players in Duke history to amass more than 1,300 points, 400 rebounds, 400 assists, 200 steals and 50 blocks in her career.
