Florida coach Dan Mullen announced Thursday the hiring of Todd Grantham as defensive coordinator.
Grantham, who served as the defensive coordinator for Georgia from 2010-2013, was most recently held the same position at Mississippi State under Mullen.
Before his one season at Mississippi State, Grantham was the defensive coordinator at Louisville from 2014-2016.
Although officially announced on Thursday, Grantham changed his cover photo and profile picture on Twitter on Wednesday night to reflect his new position.
It was announced this week Mullen would take over as head coach for the Gators after the firing of Jim McElwain in October.
