Former metro Atlanta high school stars Wendell Carter Jr. and Collin Sexton are projected as lottery picks in June’s NBA draft.

According to the Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman, Carter, the 2017 Georgia state player of the year from Pace Academy, will go No. 11 to the Charlotte Hornets. Carter averaged 13.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, two assists, 0.8 steals and 2.1 blocks as a freshman at Duke.

Sexton, a 2017 high school All-American from Pebblebrook in Cobb County, was projected to go No. 12 overall to the Clippers. As a freshman at Alabama, Sexton averaged  19.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists.
