The Hawks will open their exhibition season against Zion Williamson in October.

The team announced Thursday that the New Orleans Pelicans will come to State Farm Arena for a 7:30 p.m. game Oct. 7.

Williamson, the No. 1 pick in this year’s NBA draft, is one of four top-10 picks scheduled to play in the game. The others are Hawks rookies De’Andre Hunter (No. 4 pick) and Cam Reddish (No. 10) and Pelicans rookie Jaxson Hayes (No. 8).

The other games on the Hawks’ exhibition schedule will be revealed later, the team announced in a news release.
