For anyone who thought journalism was dead, here is proof it very much has a pulse.

University of Maryland students recently investigated what colleges do to monitor student athletes' social media accounts. What they discovered were mundane rules on keeping it straight for the masses.

Then came the University of Georgia's policies for the men's basketball team. Turns out Mark Fox is very detailed.

The documents (see below) include rules for sexual activity, appearance and apartment behavior.

Among the highlights for "Treat women with respect":

  • You don't own your girlfriend.
  • Birth control is your responsibility too.
  • Never assault or intimidate a woman.
  • Don't spend all of your energy in the bed all night
  • Hicky's/passion marks should not be ever noticed by coaches
  • One. Not two or three girlfriends.

In your spare time you can leaf through the other rules in this document cloud created by Deadspin.

Sports Illustrated first reported the discovery.
