Ole Miss' record: 1-2, 0-1 SEC.

Last time met: 2007, when Georgia defeated Mississippi 45-17 in Athens.

Ole Miss on offense: Starting quarterback Zack Stoudt threw five interceptions in last week's 30-7 loss to Vanderbilt. He was replaced by Randall Mackey, who subsequently left the game with a thigh bruise. Stoudt is expected to start against Georgia. Running back Brandon Bolden, who had 976 yards rushing last year, suffered an ankle injury in this season's opener and was limited to 39 yards on eight carries by Vanderbilt. Ole Miss' offensive line performed poorly at Vandy, giving Stoudt little time to throw and Bolden little room to run. Nationally, the Rebels rank 109th in passing offense, 98th in rushing offense and 95th in scoring offense.

Ole Miss on defense: The defense, which was expected to show improvement this season, was gashed for 281 yards rushing by Vanderbilt, an average of 5.7 yards per carry. Nationally, the Rebels are No. 99 in rushing defense, No. 28 in passing defense and No. 52 in scoring defense.

Ole Miss on special teams: Tyler Campbell led the NCAA in punting average last season at 46.37 yards per punt. He had another good game last week, averaging 44.5 yards on six punts (including a long of 62) and downing three punts inside the 20-yard line.

What you should know: Georgia has won eight consecutive games against Mississippi, and 23 of 28 since 1977. The Bulldogs' most recent loss to the Rebels was in 1996, Jim Donnan's first season as the Georgia coach. The Dogs lead the all-time series 30-12-1.

Ole Miss coach: Houston Nutt, 134-88 in 18-plus seasons as a college head coach at Murray State (1993-96), Boise State (1997), Arkansas (1998-2007) and Mississippi (since 2008). He is 23-18 at Mississippi.
