Senior Trey Braun and freshman Marcus Marshall were selected to the 2015 All-ACC Academic Football Team, the conference announced Wednesday.
As a true freshman, Marshall lead the Yellow Jackets with 654 yards rushing and four touchdowns, making three starts in 11 games. He is an undeclared major in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts.
Braun, who earned his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering in December 2014, started at left guard and finished his Tech career with 34 consecutive starts.
Tech has been represented on the All-ACC academic football team for 18 years. The team is chosen from a pool of 140 ACC football student-athletes who were nominated by the schools. Undergraduates on the team must have a 3.00 grade point average, while graduate student must have maintained a 3.5 grade point average.
