Georgia Tech picked up yet another commitment Tuesday, this time the first tight end prospect to commit to the Yellow Jackets’ 2021 signing class.

Ben Postma, a three-star tight end from Cypress Ranch High in Cypress, Texas, made his announcement a day after quarterback Chayden Peery of Los Angeles made his announcement. Postma is the 12th rising senior to commit to Tech and coach Geoff Collins and the 10th since April 28.

The class is rated 27th nationally (247Sports Composite), which was the final ranking for Collins’ 2020 class.

Postma, listed at 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds, also announced scholarship offers from Pittsburgh, Arkansas, Illinois, Central Florida  and others. He is rated the No. 50 tight end in the country.

Cypress Ranch is in the Houston area, which is the recruiting area of Tech wide receivers coach Kerry Dixon. Dixon also led the recruitment of a signee from Houston in the 2020 class, offensive lineman Paula Vaipulu.

Postma announced his offer from Tech on April 27.
