Tech cornerback Dante Wigley to transfer
Georgia Tech cornerback Dante Wigley will transfer after one semester at the school. Wigley made the announcement on his Twitter account Friday. He also said he will transfer to Holmes Community College in Goodman, Miss., with plans to transfer again.
Wigley redshirted the season after enrolling from Carrollton High. He was one of three freshman cornerbacks who redshirted the season along with Meiko Dotson and Dorian Walker.
“I would like to thank Georgia Tech for giving me the opportunity to play for them this past year and to all the people I have met while I was there,” Wigley wrote in his tweet. “With that being said I feel it’s not the best place for me.”
