Seth Hinsley scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns as West Georgia remained in the Division II playoff hunt with a 49-35 victory over visiting Florida Tech.
Hinsley scored on a pair of 12-yard runs, and Zedekiah Brown capped the victory with an 85-yard interception return for the Wolves (8-2, 4-2 Gulf South).
West Georgia entered the game No. 6 in the Super Region Two rankings. Six teams from each of the four super regions advance to the Division II playoffs.
Hinsley finished with 92 yards rushing, and Dallas Dickey threw for 255 yards and two scores.
Shaq Hall caught eight passes for 105 yards and a touchdown, and Denarius Appling returned a kickoff 100 yards for another score.
Valdosta State 36, UNC Pembroke 7: Kaleb Nobles threw for 308 yards and four touchdowns — three to Shane Henderson — to lead the visiting Blazers (7-2) to their fifth consecutive victory.
Henderson finished with five catches for 78 yards, including score receptions of 29, 23 and 11 yards.
Donovan Bolden added six catches for 80 yards and Valdosta State held UNC Pembroke (1-8) to 54 yards rushing.
Valdosta State are No. 5 in the Super Region Two rankings.
Stillman 31, Clark Atlanta 26: Josh Straughan threw for 276 yards and four touchdowns to lift host Stillman.
It was the final game of the season Clark Atlanta (3-7, 1-6 SIAC), which led 26-25 until Staughan hit Reese Sturgis on a 20-yard touchdown pass for a 31-26 lead with 46 seconds left in the third quarter.
Trenton Earl rushed for 99 yards, and Montavious Taylor gained 92 for the Panthers. Shaquan Mitchell added 85 yards and two touchdowns.
Albany State 32, Fort Valley State 21: Javis Small rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns as the Golden Rams won the Fountain City Classic in Columbus.
Fort Valley State led 21-20 in the third quarter, but Albany State’s Frank Rivers threw an 8-yard touchdown pass for a 26-21 lead.
Albany State (7-2, 7-0 SIAC) will represent the East in the conference championship game Saturday in Montgomery, Ala. The Golden Rames are No. 7 in the Super Region Two rankings.
