Six Tech players named All-ACC

May 24, 2011

For the 16th time in the 18 seasons that Danny Hall has been baseball coach at Georgia Tech, the Yellow Jackets have placed at least four players on the all-ACC baseball team as voted on by the league's coaches with two making first team and four on the second team.

Junior pitcher Mark Pope (11-3, 1.54 ERA) and freshman outfielder Kyle Wren, who leads ACC with 87 hits, were first-team choices. Juniors Jake Davies (.349, 33 RBI), Matt Skole (.351, 55 RBI), Jed Bradley (6-3, 3.71) and sophomore Buck Farmer (10-2, 2.89) were selected to the second team. Bradley and Skole were each honored for the second time in their careers.
