The salary details are in for the two newest assistant coaches on the staff of Georgia head coach Kirby Smart.

Cortez Hankton is receiving $375,000 annually, according to information provided by UGA.

Scott Fountain is set to receive $300,000, according to the same information.

Those are expected to be the full base salaries for both coaches, including base and supplemental salary, a school spokesman confirmed. Hankton and Fountain were listed as “assistant football coach,” their roles still undefined.

Hankton came from Vanderbilt, where he was receivers coach the past three seasons. Because Vanderbilt is a private school, his salary there was not publicly known.

Fountain was at UGA last year as a special teams analyst, and was earning $115,000. Fountain then left in early January to become the special teams coordinator at Mississippi State, but was re-hired at Georgia last week. Fountain replaced Shane Beamer, who left to become the assistant head coach at Oklahoma.

It was previously announced that Dan Lanning, the other addition to the staff, would be receiving $325,000 in base salary. Lanning is the new outside linebackers coach, replacing Kevin Sherrer, who left to become the defensive coordinator at Tennessee.

Georgia is set to give raises to other assistants who are remaining on the staff after the run to the national championship. Smart is also expected to receive a substantial raise from his $3.75 million salary after the team’s SEC championship and Rose Bowl victories.
