Alabama Coach Nick Saban talked about his star turn in the movie adaptation of Michael Lewis' book, "The Blind Side," about former Ole Miss lineman Michael Oher, now a rookie with Baltimore.
Well, not necessarily star turn. Maybe just turn. He had two lines in two days of filming, playing himself when he was coach at LSU and recruiting Oher.
The movie, which stars Kathy Bates and Sandra Bullock, was filmed in part in Atlanta.
"I really enjoyed the movie," Saban said. "It's not the takes that get you. It's the angles. I learned something. When I come in the door to do the recruiting spiel, there's seven of us in the picture. You have to do seven takes because there has to be a wide angle, then there has to be a close-up on every person. When you watch a movie, you just kind of feel like they got it with one camera."
