A memorial service will be held in Sanford Stadium on Dec. 10 for legendary University of Georgia radio broadcaster Larry Munson, UGA announced Monday.

Munson died at age 89 on Nov. 20 after complications from pneumonia.

The one-hour service will begin at 1 p.m., with the stadium gates opening at noon. UGA said seating will be on the south side of the stadium and parking free in surface lots and the Tate Center deck. In the event of inclement weather, the service will move to Stegeman Coliseum.
