Georgia Tech quarterback James Graham and defensive end Jordan Domineck both earned ACC player of the week honors after the Yellow Jackets’ 28-26 win over N.C. State last Thursday.

Domineck, a redshirt freshman, hit career highs for tackles with 10 and tackles for loss with 1.5. He was responsible for one of the more significant plays of the game when he beat a block on a fourth-and-2 at the Tech 10-yard line to stop Wolfpack running back Zonovan Knight in the backfield to end N.C. State’s first possession. It was Domineck’s second start of his career.

Also a redshirt freshman, Graham was named co-rookie of the week after throwing a career-high three touchdown passes and running for another. Graham accounted for 241 yards of offense (129 passing, 112 rushing). The rushing total was a career high.

Graham has thrown 11 touchdown passes this season, one shy of the school record for freshmen, set by Shawn Jones in 1989.

Domineck and Graham were the third and fourth Tech players to win ACC weekly honors, following linebacker Charlie Thomas (against South Florida) and punter Pressley Harvin (Miami).
