Georgia State will use Parker Executive Search to handle the hunt for its next athletic director.

The two sides agreed to work together on June 10, according to a copy of the letter of understanding between the two parties obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution through an Open Records Request.

Georgia State will pay $70,000 to use Parker.

Athletic director Cheryl Levick announced earlier this month that she will transition to a new role as special assistant to President Mark Becker on July 1.

According to the letter of understanding, Parker’s scope of work includes:

Original research and candidate identification;

Assessment throughout the search;

Advise and facilitate the process;

Handle scheduling interviews;

Work with the university on follow-ups;
