Jah-Mai Davidson, who started 13 games at right tackle for Georgia State’s football team last season, has decided against using his final year of eligibilty.

Davidson graduated last year and coach Trent Miles said on Wednesday that the player is starting the next chapter in his life.

The Panthers should return four starters on the line: Michael Ivory, Sebastian Willer, Gabe Mobley and Alex Stoehr.

Davidson signed in 2012. After missing the 2013 season because of an injury, he played in nine games in 2014 before earning the starting role in 2015.

He made the Dean’s List in the fall of 2012 and spring of 2013, and the athletic director’s honor roll three times. He majored in psychology.
