GEORGIA STATE AT CLEMSON

When: 3:30 p.m. Saturday

TV: FSSO

Line: Clemson by 40 1/2

WHAT TO EXPECT

Georgia State on offense: The Panthers average 24.1 points and 383.3 yards per game. Behind quarterback Nick Arbuckle, the team has passed for 287.8 yards per game. Donovan Harden is the top target, with 52 receptions for 796 yards and seven touchdowns. Three other receivers have at least 38 receptions. The offensive line has allowed 29 sacks. Behind Marcus Caffey, the team is rushing for 95.6 yards per game.

Clemson on offense: The Tigers average 29.8 points and 407.3 yards per game. Cole Stoudt will start at quarterback. He averages 144.4 passing yards and 11 rushing yards per game. He struggled in last week's loss at Georgia Tech, with three interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns. Nick Schuessler also may play. Mike Williams (77.2 yards per game) and Artavis Scott (64.3) are the go-to weapons at receiver. The running game is led by Wayne Gallman, who is averaging 49.3 yards per game, but the group features several players who get carries. The line has allowed 21 sacks.

Georgia State on defense: The Panthers have allowed 43.8 points and 500.1 yards and 190.9 passing yards and 309.2 rushing yards per game. The defense rarely creates turnovers, with two interceptions and four fumbles recovered. The Panthers likely will play without leading tackler and key linebacker Joseph Peterson because of an injured ankle.

Clemson on defense: The Tigers have allowed 19.4 points and 262.1 yards per game. Behind end Vic Beasley, the team has 38 sacks with six interceptions and nine fumbles recovered. Opponents are converting only 25.7 of their third downs, the lowest rate in FBS. Linebacker Stephone Anthony is the leading tackler (74).
