Georgia Tech A-back Broderick Snoddy, who suffered a gruesome leg injury in the Yellow Jackets’ win over Clemson Saturday, is expected to make a full recovery, coach Paul Johnson said.

“I think he’ll be O.K. for next year,” Johnson said. “We think he’s going to be 100 percent then.”

Snoddy broke his left leg in the second quarter of Saturday’s game, an injury that required surgery to repair. A player who had worked hard to increase his playing time this season, Snoddy was one of the team’s most improved players this season before the injury. He turned in a career-long 46-yard run earlier in the game Saturday, taking advantage of his considerable speed.

Johnson said “he was really starting to play well and come into his own. I feel bad for him.”

It’s possible Snoddy could be ready by spring practice after his rehabilitation.
