Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields was named the Big Ten offensive player of the year, the conference announced Wednesday. He was also voted quarterback of the year and first team offense.

Fields won in voting of coaches and media.

Fields has led Ohio State to an 12-0 record and the No. 1 ranking in the College Football Playoff poll. The Buckeyes play Wisconsin on Saturday in the conference championship.

Fields has completed 189-of 277 passes (68.2%) for 2,654 yards this season. He has thrown 37 touchdowns with just one interception. Fields has also rushed for 470 yards, on 111 carries, and 10 touchdowns.

Fields, from Harrison High in Kennesaw, played one season at Georgia before transferring to Ohio State this year.
