Barbora Krtickova, Emory University’s women’s tennis assistant coach, recently received a national honor for her work with the Division III program. Krtickova was named by the ITA and NCAA as the National Assistant Coach of the Year, the school announced.

Krtickova was named the top assistant for the Atlantic-South region before being recognized nationally. She is the first in school history to win the national award.

This season, Krtickova helped the Eagles to a 20-4 overall record, the national semifinals for the 11th consecutive season and the program's seventh straight University Athletic Association crown in April.

During her five seasons at the school, Krtickova has helped the team to a 102-25 record, including a national championship in 2016 and national runner-up in 2015, 2017 and 2018.
