The College Football Playoff semifinals rotate among six bowls — the Rose, Sugar, Orange, Cotton, Peach and Fiesta — with each hosting a semi once every three years.

2016 season: Saturday, Dec. 31, Fiesta and Peach bowls
2017 season: Monday, Jan. 1, Rose and Sugar bowls
2018 season: Saturday, Dec. 29, Cotton and Orange bowls
2019 season: Saturday, Dec. 28, Fiesta and Peach bowls
2020 season: Friday, Jan. 1, Rose and Sugar bowls
2021 season: Friday, Dec. 31, Orange and Cotton bowls
2022 season: Saturday, Dec. 31, Fiesta and Peach bowls
2023 season: Monday, Jan. 1, Rose and Sugar bowls
2024 season: Saturday, Dec. 28, Orange and Cotton bowls
2025 season: Saturday, Dec. 27, Fiesta and Peach bowls
