Broderick Snoddy out for Clemson game with hand injury

Oct 8, 2015

Georgia Tech will not have A-back Broderick Snoddy for its Saturday game against No. 6 Clemson. Snoddy was ruled out with a hand injury in the team injury report released Thursday.

Snoddy will miss his second consecutive game after injuring his hand against Duke. He was on the sidelines for last week’s loss to North Carolina with his hand in a cast. The Yellow Jackets could use his breakaway speed against the Tigers, whose 3.03 yards-per-carry average on defense ranks 18th in the country. Tech has been desperate to break big plays, and Snoddy’s combination of speed and power has given the Jackets that dynamic.

Further, Snoddy is the most experienced A-back, and his knowledge of the offense would likewise prove beneficial even when not carrying the ball.

Defensive tackle Patrick Gamble (head) was listed as probable and wide receiver Micheal Summers (shoulder) as questionable, respectively. Both have been expected to play.

Notably, A-back TaQuon Marshall, who dressed for last week’s game but did not play with an undisclosed injury, and cornerback Chris Milton, who did not finish the game with an undisclosed injury, are both not on the report.
