Braun, Chamberlain, Gotsis receive All-ACC honorable mention
A year after putting seven players on the All-ACC team, Georgia Tech had no team members on the 82-player all-conference team this year.
Left tackle Bryan Chamberlain, left guard Trey Braun and defensive tackle Adam Gotsis all made honorable mention on the team voted on by members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association. Gotsis might have had a better shot at making one of the three All-ACC teams had he not torn his ACL in the Virginia game, and missed the final three games and almost all of the game against the Cavaliers. Braun and Chamberlain both helped Tech lead the ACC in rushing for the ninth season in a row.
It’s the first time the Yellow Jackets have been shut out since 1987, which was coach Bobby Ross’ first season and the Jackets were 2-9.
