College GameDay is coming to New York City for the first time, ESPN announced on Thursday.

On Sept. 23, the three-hour college football countdown show will be held in Times Square from 9 a.m. to noon.

“We will celebrate the sport that never sleeps in the city that never sleeps,” host Rece Davis said in a statement. “College football’s roots and the foundation of what’s become a national phenomenon began in the Northeast. We will pay homage to that tradition, while embracing what makes college football great in New York in 2017 – the fans and alumni bases that gather each week to root on their team in a communal fashion which is most unique to college football.”

College GameDay’s stage will be parallel with 7th Ave, between 43rd and 44th Street.
