It appears that Georgia Tech quarterback Justin Thomas will play in Saturday’s game with rival Georgia at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Thomas, who was removed from last Saturday’s game against Miami with an upper-body injury, practiced Wednesday, coach Paul Johnson said.

“I’d be surprised if he doesn’t play,” Johnson said.

Thomas is the team’s most dynamic playmaker and is far more experienced than backup Matthew Jordan.
