Georgia State and the Georgia World Congress Center Authority have agreed to extend the university’s contract to play football games in the Georgia Dome through the 2016 season.

The Panthers are expected to play in the new stadium downtown, or possibly the Turner Field area, for the 2017 season.

Georgia State has played all of its home games from the program’s first season in 2010 at the Dome.

Georgia State pays a total of $100,000 per game to use the Dome.
