Tailback Keith Marshall left Georgia with a season of eligibility remaining in hopes of proving he was capable of being an NFL running back.

He's off to a strong start, literally, at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.

The 5-foot-11, 212-pound Marshall led all running backs in a key test, the bench press, Thursday. According to a tweet by College Football 24/7, Marshall bench-pressed 225 pounds 25 times. That's three more reps than the Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry of Alabama.

Marshall came to UGA with high expectations but his career was hampered by injuries. He finished his college career with 1,379 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns.
