South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier says suspended quarterback Stephen Garcia is back on campus and working out with teammates.

Spurrier adds that Garcia has no room for another misstep.

Spurrier says "one more, he'd be finished."

Garcia was suspended for the fifth time in his college career — and second time during spring practice — on April 6 after an incident at a life skills seminar. Spurrier says Garcia has several confidential guidelines to adhere to before possible reinstatement in two months.

Garcia's status will be reevaluated before fall camp opens. The first workout for the defending Southeastern Conference Eastern Division champions is Aug. 3.

Auburn football team set to visit White House: Auburn's national championship football team will visit the White House on Wednesday, June 8.

The Tigers had to reschedule when their trip initially set for April 29 was canceled after tornados hit the state and the Southeast two days earlier.

White House officials announced the new date on Thursday.

Coach Gene Chizik and the Auburn team will be honored by President Obama in the afternoon at the White House Rose Garden. The president will speak about the Tigers and take a photo with the group.

Ex-Florida safety is arrested on driving violation: Authorities say former University of Florida safety Will Hill has been arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked license.

According to Alachua County (Fla.) jail documents, Hill was arrested by the Gainesville Police Department and booked into jail at 2 p.m. Thursday on a warrant with a $2,000 bond from Lake County.

Hill was suspended for two games last season and had 54 tackles and two interceptions. He finished his college career with 144 tackles and six interceptions.

He declared for the NFL Draft in January but was undrafted and has not been able to sign a free agent contract with any teams because of the NFL lockout.

Lawyer says Pryor's license reinstated: The lawyer for Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor confirmed Thursday that the player's driving privileges have been reinstated after he showed proof that he was insured.

Officials at the Ohio Department of Public Safety said Wednesday that Pryor's driving privileges in the state had been suspended because he failed to produce proof of insurance when pulled over for a stop-sign violation on Feb. 19.

Pryor's attorney, Larry James, said Thursday Pryor had since shown proof he had insurance. James said he had a copy of the insurance policy that was in place at the time of the stop.

Pryor and his cars are a part of the NCAA's investigation of violations at Ohio State, The Columbus Dispatch has reported. Coach Jim Tressel was forced to resign on Monday.

Former Vols lineman Revis visits UTC: Former University of Tennessee lineman Kevin Revis has visited the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga as part of his search for a place to continue his football career.

Revis told The Chattanooga Times Free Press that he's also visiting other schools in the Football Bowl Subdivision and Football Championship Subdivision, where the Mocs play.

Revis announced his decision to leave the University of Tennessee last week. He played in one game as a redshirt freshman in 2010 and he wasn't on the Volunteers' two-deep roster for their spring game.

Revis would be immediately eligible for the Mocs, because he would be transferring down a level. Should he transfer to a bowl subdivision school, Revis would have to sit out a year.

Former UA quarterback Mustain signs with CFL: Former Arkansas and Southern California quarterback Mitch Mustain has signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.

The team announced the signing in a release on its website.

Mustain, a former prep standout at Springdale (Ark.) High School and Gatorade National Player of the Year, was 8-0 as a starter for the Razorbacks in 2006 before transferring to USC.

He served as the backup to Trojans' quarterback Matt Barkley the last two seasons, throwing for 505 yards and three touchdowns in limited action.

Mustain was arrested on suspicion of selling prescription drugs in California in February, but the charges were later dropped.

Trustees approve 1-year extension for former UGA assistant: UAB has given football coach Neil Callaway a one-year contract extension through the 2012 season.

UAB athletic director Brian Mackin said Wednesday the extension through January 2013 was contingent on the 2010-11 Academic Progress Rate numbers.

The University of Alabama system trustees compensation committee approved the extension Wednesday, which did not include a pay raise. The Blazers were 4-8 last season and are 15-33 in Callaway's four seasons.

He makes $360,000 annually plus incentives.

Trustees also approved a two-year, $175,000-a-year deal for new defensive coordinator Tommy West. The deal for the former Clemson and Memphis head coach includes a $6,000 annual car stipend.

Kansas defensive coach Torbush retires, has cancer: Carl Torbush, defensive coordinator at Kansas and former head coach at Louisiana Tech and North Carolina, is retiring after being diagnosed with prostate cancer.

The school said Tuesday that Torbush, who also served as KU's linebackers coach, will be having surgery soon and expects a full recovery.

Torbush was one of the first assistants Turner Gill hired after he was hired as head coach following the the 2009 season. Torbush has also been defensive coordinator at North Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi and Texas A&M.
