Cavaliers, Warriors deliver most-watched NBA Finals since 1998

In their third consecutive Finals matchup, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors put on a show to remember.

The 2017 NBA Finals was the most watched Finals since Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls played the Utah Jazz in 1998 Finals, ESPN announced on Tuesday.

The Warriors 4-1 series win averaged a live audience of 20.8 million viewers. Last year’s seven-game series between the Cavaliers and Warriors averaged a live audience of 20.57 million.
