No Castro, Rossetto with Atlanta United yet

Fullbacks George Bello and Edgar Castillo trained with Atlanta United on Wednesday.

Centerbacks Miles Robinson and Franco Escobar are rehabbing injuries and didn’t participate. Midfielders Matheus Rossetto and Manuel Castro didn’t participate because they aren’t yet with the team.  They are expected to arrive any day.

Atlanta United (1-0-0) will host Cincinnati at 7 p.m. Saturday at  Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The game will be broadcast by Fox Sports South.

Bello, who suffered a concussion in a friendly against Birmingham on Feb. 8, trained with the team last week and was scheduled to participate in a friendly last week.

Castillo suffered a broken rib in a friendly against Swedish club Elfsborg on Feb. 1.

Robinson suffered an injury to his quadriceps in a friendly against Mexican side Leones Negros on Feb. 11.

Escobar suffered an undisclosed muscular injury in last week’s 2-1 win at Nashville.

Rossetto was in Brazil last week securing his visa and was expected to join the team this week. His signing was announced on Feb. 3. He participated in the friendly at Birmingham.

Castro has yet to train with Atlanta United because he is also working to secure his visa. He was also expected to join the team this week. His signing from Estudiantes in Argentina was announced on Feb. 12.
