Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton landed the No. 25 spot on the 2018 NFL 100, the NFL Network revealed Monday night.

Newton, who rose 19 spots over his ranking from the 2016 regular season, threw for 3,302 yards, 22 touchdowns and 16 interceptions as well as rushed for a career-high of 754 yards and six touchdowns last season. Newton led the Panthers to the NFL Wild Card round this season, only to lose to NFC South rival, the New Orleans Saints.

A former Westlake High School and Auburn quarterback, Newton is entering his eighth season in the League after being drafted first overall in 2011 by the Panthers.
