Kyle Schwarber is giving Chicago Cubs fans hope that a World Series win is one of his hits away from reality. He is also getting support, in a way, as a meme and T-shirt from his days as a high school footballer in Ohio.

The photo and now T-shirt featuring the same with the caption — “I made Kyle choose baseball” — is going viral with the help from NFL player Braxton Miller.

The image, taken at a high school football game years ago, shows Miller, then a Wayne High School quarterback, evading a diving Schwarber, who was then a linebacker at Middletown High School.

Miller, now a wide receiver for the NFL's Houston Texans, had some fun posting the photo on his Facebook page this week as Schwarber makes headlines with the Cubs in the World Series.
