Trae Young is in. John Collins and Tyler Dorsey are out.

Young will start against the Bulls in Tuesday’s final preliminary round game of the Las Vegas Summer League. The No. 5 overall pick in the draft was limited to just the first half of Sunday’s game against the Trail Blazers because of a right quad contusion. Young took a knee during the opening game of the event against the Knicks. The point guard experienced some pain and tightness in the first half. He missed his two shot attempts – both 3-pointers – before being sidelined in the second half.

Young is 16-of-66 from the field, including 6-of-35 from 3-point range, during play in the two summer leagues.

Collins will not play, as the Hawks saw enough from last season’s first-round pick in four summer-league games between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. Collins’ impressive performances included a 30-point game against the Knicks on Saturday. The Hawks found it prudent to limit Collins after the contests.

Dorsey will miss his second consecutive game in Las Vegas after with left hip tightness. The guard, a second-round pick last season, has been solid in the summer leagues. He was hit low against the Knicks. He stayed in the game, but experienced pain the following day.

In addition to Young, the Hawks will start Jaylen Morris, Antonius Cleveland, Omari Spellman and Jock Landale.

Following Tuesday’s game, teams will be seeded for the tournament portion of the event. The Hawks are 0-2 in Las Vegas and were 0-3 in the Utah Jazz Summer League.
