The Atlanta Hawks held a press conference featuring general manager Travis Schlenk Thursday to discuss the departure of coach Mike Budenholzer.
The team announced Wednesday night Budenholzer and the Hawks mutually agreed to part ways after five seasons as head coach.
Under Budenholzer, the Hawks had a 213-197 regular season record and were 17-22 during the postseason.
