UPDATE: Jeff Teague will be inactive for tonight's game against the Mavericks. It will be the third straight game he has missed with a left hamstring strain.

Jeff Teague is doubtful for tonight’s game at the Mavericks with a strained left hamstring.

The Hawks starting point guard has missed the past two games with the injury. The Hawks won both games making it easier to bring Teague along slowly. Dennis Schroder started in place of Teague.

There is no timetable for Teague’s return. DeMarre Carroll missed four games over a week earlier this season with a groin strain. Teague was injured near the end of the first half of Monday’s win over the Bulls.

The Hawks play again at home Tuesday and then have two days off - Christmas Eve and Christmas Day - before back-to-back games against the Bucks.

Teague leads the Hawks in points and assists.
