Jeff Teague is not making a fashion statement.

The Hawks point guard needs to wear corrective lenses on the basketball court for the first time in his career. He wore a pair of sleek prescription goggles during the first day of training camp Tuesday. He is also experimenting with contact lenses. Teague said he will use training camp and the exhibition season to see what works best.

“I prefer to wear the goggles,” Teague said. “The goggles were pretty good today. We’ll see.”
