Tavares scores six points in loss
Hawks second-round pick Edy Tavares scored six points for Herbalife Gran Canaria in a 74-67 loss to Unicaja Sunday in ACB League action.
The center added seven rebounds while playing 26:39 off the bench in the Spanish league game.
Gran Canaria (1-3) will next play Morabanc Andorra Saturday.
The Hawks’ other second-round pick Lamar Patterson will play for Turkey’s Tofus Bursa in a Euroleague game Monday. The guard will face Anadola Efes.
